Super Saturday Stretch and Inspriation

Fall Quote inspiration:

I am terrible when it comes to journaling. Many times I just skip it and put the layout together with a title, if the layout is lucky. Lately I have been secretly journaling under a tag or someplace it won't be seen and yet I want to place something on the page for those who are glancing through the layouts later on. Here are some quotes and poems for the Fall that can be used as journaling.

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns."
- George Eliot

We have been seeing this first hand as well as all the Monarch butterflies that go with it.

"The milkweed pods are breaking,
And the bits of silken down
Float off upon the autumn breeze
Across the meadows brown."
- Cecil Cavendish, The Milkweed

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."
- Albert Camus

"Thy bounty shines in autumn unconfined
And spreads a common feast for all that live."
- James Thomson

"No Spring nor Summer Beauty hath such grace
As I have seen in one Autumnal face."
- John Donne

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
~George Cooper, "October's Party"

By all these lovely tokens September days are here, With summer's best of weather And autumn's best of cheer.
Helen Hunt Jackson

My sorrow, when she's here with me, thinks these dark days of autumn rain are beautiful as days can be; she loves the bare, the withered tree; she walks the sodden pasture lane.
Robert Frost
