Coming soon to SBE!

I can't resist. I have to put this here and tease you all just a little. I've got a new kit coming to Scrapbook-Elements.com that is a different style for me. I stretched out a bit, and created this new one...Flutterby. I'll be posting layouts to show off the kit later this week.

More CT Layouts!

More lovely work from my CT members. I couldn't just stop with a few of them. Here are some more:

From Janel:

Aren't they lovely? I really appreciate my creative team members. I just love to see how they are going to use my products. I'm also still looking for guests, so take a look a few posts back and apply! My requirements are very flexible. Use one kit or many...it's up to you.
Tomorrow you'll see my latest in the Watercolour series, Through the Grapevine. I love doing these watercoloured papers. This week, I'm also going to be scrapping my heart out using the kits from the designers I CT for, like Miki Ferkul and Dianne Rigdon. I have so much scrapping to do!
And I'm pleased as punch to be invited to be a guest for Sugarplum Paperie's Nicole Seitler in February. That will be so much fun. I love the simple elegance of her kits. It's easy to do the minimalist layouts with her stuff and look elegant rather than just empty.
So I hope you all have a safe holiday period. Drop by again during the holidays for a few little treats here on my blog. You never know what little gifts await!

A Snowy Day with a Cherry on Top!

Well, we managed to miss Snowmaggedon. It passed just South-West of here, so we only got about 15 centimetres. Go figure. And today is a gloriously sunny day, but as is typical of this area, when it's sunny, it's a biting cold day. I mean feel your nose hairs freeze the moment you step out of the door kind of day. So while I hunkered down in my warm apartment this weekend, I worked on some more watercoloured papers. Here are my latest, Cherries Jubilee.

As sweet as its name, the "Cherries Jubilee" paper pack is a beautiful addition to your scrapbook stash. With subtle texture and marbled beauty, this pack features eight papers in gorgeous hues of purples, violets, tans and creams. Great for heritage, romantic and many other pages, you'll love the sweetly delicious "Cherries Jubilee".
I hope you enjoy them!

New wintery goodness at PDW!

There's some new wintery goodness at Plain Digital Wrapper today. And it's on sale. Winter has hit this part of the country and we are well under a blanket of white. So what's a gal to do except make the best of it, and use it as inspiration. So I've done some beautiful shimmer snowflakes for you. These are large snowflakes that you can use as is on paper, to give a glittery addition to your layout, or you can reduce them in size for a subtle effect.

And here's Winter Wonderland. These papers are great for creating stacked backgrounds. There are 7 scenes in all, and with your purchase you receive the full 12X12 jpg format, and the worn pngs, shown in the preview.

I know that you'll love them for all your outdoor layouts this winter.
Now, I'm also having a guest CT call for January through April. The requirements are very simple. Just send me your name, a link to your largest gallery, and tell me how many layouts you can do a month. That's it. Pretty simple stuff.

So today my products at SUN, with the exception of my commercial use products, are only ONE DOLLAR. $1. That's it. Go get them while they are on sale and they leave SUN for good.

Thanks for your support while I was there, and I hope that you'll continue to enjoy my products at Plain Digital Wrapper and Scrapbook-Elements.com

Bitten by the Twilight Series?

That was the my inspiration for the freebie that is in store now, for my Featured Designer week at Plain Digital Wrapper. And I just completed another beauty that is actually an add-on to a previously released paper pack. Can you tell that I was inspired by Edward's golden topaz eyes? And his velvet voice? But I digress...Take a look at Crushed Plums Add-On:

It's on sale this week only!

A Timeless Challenge....

Hi, everyone, it is Janel, and I have a my weekly Saturday challenge for you! Have you seen the new Timeless kit that Kiki has out at Scrapbook-Elements??? It is gorgeous!!! (You can click the preview below to go to the store for a close up view!) My challenge for you this week is to do a great layout about time, a time of year, a great time in your life, or the passage of time!

I did one for autumn, and I of course had to use the new Timeless kit!

OK, so here is what you need to do:
Try and use some Kiki items in your layout! Upload your layout to your favorite online gallery, come back to this post and post the link in the comments for this post by Friday, October 31st at midnight EST. If you aren't comfortable with that, you may post your LO on your blog or your photobucket account instead. Just make sure you link us up! We will choose a layout (using the random number generator) to win a $5 gift certificate. Here is the best part, the winner picks which one of Kiki’s shops you want to spend it in. Can I get a woo hoo??!! Which will it be Plain Digital Wrapper, Scrapbook-Elements, or Sunshine Studio Scraps?

What a week! Hope you all had fun!

Well, it's hard to believe but the week of celebration is over. It was so filled with fun and all those goodies. There were new products available at amazing deals too! We had some winners who sported my fan blinkie for the celebration. Congrats to RoverGal, Netty, and KimberlyRae at DST. They'll be enjoying more goodies! And congrats to Kiki's Greatest Fan, graciesgram! She'll be a new CT member for the month of November!

But there's more exciting news to be had...onto my new release at Scrapbook-Elements.com today:

I was inspired by the fall colours, and I wanted to make a kit that I could use for photos of my husband. Of course my CT team also have men in their lives, and they need something masculine to scrap with too. I'm sure you do as well. So Timeless was born.

Classics never go out of style--they're 'timeless'! The color palette in this kit includes sage green, burnt orange and dark gray. The papers are lightly-textured and beautifully color washed with subtle patterns; you'll find no end of uses for masculine, heritage or any other layout you can think of. The embellishments will add a perfect touch: classy clock borders and one single foil clock, a full-size bracket in a neutral shade, buttons, brads, two different photo corners, ribbons, beaded wire, flourishes and frames. Your memories are timeless...this kit make sure you're scrapbook pages are too! 11 patterned and textured papers, 3 clock borders, 3 frames, 2 different leaves, 2 buttons, 1 beaded wire, 1 string, 1 swirl, 1 journal tag, 1 journal card, 1 metal nameplate, 1 plain wire, 1 foil clock, 1 brad, 1 grosgrain ribbon, 1 set metal photo corners (4 each), 1 set fabric photo corner (4 each), 1 curly ribbon.

And of course, when you get it Sunday or Monday, it's on sale. So hurry over to pick it up and get those autumn pictures into some layouts!

And keep your eyes here for a CT call of a different kind. I'm on the hunt for some hybrid project members. The call will be going out this week, so I hope to see some interesting project photos in the applications.

SO, that means you still have time to get in on those party games! Just scroll down for the details to the posts from earlier this week.

And I have a my weekly Saturday challenge for you! Since we are celebrating Kiki's 2nd design Anniversary, I want you to scrap a celebration, however, it does not have to be an anniversary! OK, so here is what you need to do:
Try and use at least one Kiki item in your layout! Upload your layout to your favorite online gallery, come back to this post and post the link in the comments for this post by Friday, October 24th at midnight EST. Don't you love Fridays?

Hi everyone. Kiki here. I just love Fridays. It's the end of something and the beginning of another. The end of the week, and the beginning of the weekend - all at the same time. Kind of like my digital design anniversary. The end of two years of designing and the start of the third. I'm not done yet by any means. I hope that you are enjoying playing along with us in our celebration. If you haven't done so yet, make sure you play Kiki's Greatest Fan, which was posted just a few days ago. And as always, if you are making any lovely pages of your memories with my products, I'd love to hear from you. I always enjoy seeing beautiful layouts. I also enjoy hearing feedback on my products too.

Did you know that Plain Digital Wrapper now has challenges on their forum, that you can use as inspiration to reach in a new direction, to learn a new skill, or to just get those pictures all scrapped. Be sure to visit and see what's new there. In November, you'll see a new challenge from me there as well. It's a QP Exchange really. So how better to tease and tantalize you than to give you another taste of what you'll get from that challenge:

Remember to come back tomorrow for the last day of fun. We'll be choosing our winners and dishing out more for you!
